1. The photo I took is from Caio Ribeiro Moraes e Silva Square, which is in the city of Santos, São Paulo. It occupies a whole block, is in the middle of a residential and commercial area and has recently been completely renovated. The place is very pleasant, well wooded, there is a bicycle station, there is a bike path around the perimeter of the square, there is a small playground for children, some exercise equipment and in the background we can see a fenced space where the dog owners can get them to play. 2. What is the user profile of this square? Of the existing public equipment which are often used? 3. When we know about the profile and characteristics of those who use the square, or some place built, it is possible to use this information to define the size of the areas according to their usage demands as well as the amount of public equipment that should be installed in this space, making them more optimized.
