Hello, I am from India, but I am studying in Austria currently and seeing as there are many threads on India already, I will do the questionnaire for Austria. 1.As one can observe from IEA Energy Sankey diagram, the dominant fossil fuels in Austria as of 2016 are imported gas (11.86 Mtoe) and oil (7.59 Mtoe). But 5.70 Mtoe of natural gas is exported. I didn't knew if Austria was a net exporter of gas as I never came across any information about the natural gas resources the nation possesses. 2.7.50 Mtoe of oil is being consumed by the transport sector and 2.69 Mtoe of natural gas is serving the industrial sector requirements. 1.64 Mtoe of gas is being consumed by other consumers. 3.Concerning Austria's energy mix, Austria has huge pumped-storage power plants. Although Austria is intensely against building any nuclear power plants, a mid size nuclear power plant serving the base load generation along with more PV systems across the country, with high-penetration of rooftop and also also a few wind power projects would serve the nation well. Also, another form of generation would be CHP that uses biomass as fuel.
