On this picture we can see two buildings - on the left side is newspaper company found and built in Socialists era, while on the right side we can see current construction site. When the left building was constructed, Serbia was part of Yugoslavia with well developed industry, resources and localized production of building materials. Today much of resources are imported, but even if the style of building has changed (modern complexes use more glass and lighter materials) our constructing methods still relies on traditional materials.
