The photo shows a big number of cables in front of the São Gonçalo Church, in the Boa Vista neighborhood, Recife. The vulnerability of cables in our city is a serious thing to discuss considering the dependency of this method and danger that it can cause. These cables happen to be, in most cases, tangled. This difficult maintenance and makes lacks of energy easier to happen. Also, when the city receives a big amount of rain, the danger near the concrete poles is bigger. The high voltage in these poles can make accidents. The cables draw the city landscape and they are an important part to consider in an infrastructure intervention in the city.
