2) Main effects of the UHI in my city is the increase of temperature, shortage of snowfalls, increase in forest fire, high number of heart attacks because of heat. In 1970's, the coldest temperature in year was approximately -20 Celsius degrees. Since the 21th century, it's approximately -7 Celsius degree. 3) Firstly, I will develop public transportation and I will build carpark relay to limit the use of cars in city. New neighbourhoods will be “greenified” and will be in a light colour to avoid accumulation of heats. Then i will build parks and plant some trees near the roads. 4) The city of Lyon is developing is public transportation network. They were pioneers in the public bike idea in France. The city has succeeded in limiting the number of cars because of the great utilisations of bike and carpark outside the city.
