My top 5 liveable cities: 1. Adelaide 2. Singapore 3. Basel 4. Tokyo 5. Vienna My criteria for liveability: 1. Developed transport system that allows not owning a car 2. Safety 3. Low air pollution 4. A city that is dense or has various business centres so that time of getting to work is not long 5. Clean city (in terms of tidiness) The city I live in (London) has a relatively developed transport system and is again relatively clean, though improvements could be made on these two points. London should develop its periphery so that all of the people don't have to commute to the center every day saturating the transport system. The air quality and especially the safety are the major points that have to be improved.
