Hello my name is Nishtha Sadana and I am going to take my city of residence - Mumbai, India into account. 2. The urban temperatures of Mumbai are 25 degree Celsius in the month of January and 30 degree Celsius in the month of June. It is located along the sea and experience maritime type of climate. Whereas the rural areas away from the sea experience higher temperatures than the city. Temperature being 31 degree Celsius in January and 35 degree Celsius in June. Here I attach the two images from Mumbai historic centre and rural nearby areas. 3. I would choose- - more green spaces in the city - clean city campaign finding solutions for land pollution - new buildings to be oriented in a way that receive winds from the sea and helps in reduction of UHI 4.
