With the addition of a new light rail system in Sydney’s transport networks, Sydney’s public transport system is even more chaotic than ever before. Although there have been improvements in transport, it has yet to meet the demands of the growing city who are increasingly living closer to the city. The proposed app serves as a way for commuters to quickly and accurately show which routes and modes of transport require improvement, as well as opportunities for transport officials to determine if alternative/additional transport mode options could be necessary to alleviate transport demands in certain areas.
