This photo was taken from a high rise tower in Bangkok, Thailand. The tower is located in a dense multi use neighborhood. Surrounding the tower, there are low rise buildings, towers, residential villas surrounding a lake, a metro bridge, and interconnected 2 level highways. From this picture it is visible that most of the city's citizen use private vehicles as their main source of transport. However, we do not know the time of which there are the maximum cars on the roads. The metro bridge suggests alternative public transport. But it is not visible how efficient is this source. The importance of Billboard is also visible. the most clear and visible construction material is mostly concrete and some glass. The residential villas shows the usage of timber and metal scrapping roof. It is not visible how sustainable could these building be. The city has hot and rainy summers. Whether these buildings have good insulation or if they harvest the rain water is not clear.
