This is photo of a building in Abu Dhabi along the Corniche which is seaside recreational space. Being an expatriate in this country (which has a whooping 83.5% of it's population as expatriates) I would state the first stock and flow as people who are stocks as themselves but flows when they migrate in search of better working opportunities and living conditions. The second stock and flow largely observed in this country is that of food materials. Being a desert land, the United Arab Emirates exports its food on a large scale from various countries namely India, Brazil, Iran, Australia, etc to sustain its inhabitants. The third stock and flow would be of building materials which has been largely helped by globalization in the construction industry. Steel, cement, building blocks, finishing materials such as tiles, paints etc are all largely imported from all around the world. The last stock and flow of the country is also why it has a strong economy and importing power - the stock of crude oil and its demanding flow around the world; thus empowering the country of United Arab Emirates to suitably exploit it and become a developed country in such a short span.
