To keep a system behind the streets of Bangkok is probably not one of the easiest things to do, however there are plenty of ways to do so. Collect information, process and work with them in order to optimize your running system. Visible information: an intersection with cars and other kinds of vehicles, all important parts of a traffic system including lights and signs. Furthermore there is an overpass with people on it and a green area. Invisible information: with sensors watching the car traffic it’s possible to coordinate the perfect timing of light periods. Therefore it’s important to connect it with your whole traffic system so there won’t be any kind of inconsistency. Of course not only the car but also the human traffic is an important part. With sensors on the overpass or information mobile devices can provide, there is a way to detect places of big human movement and with it information of potential need in infrastructure. Furthermore sensors can examine air quality and therefore prevent air pollution. Especially in places like this, in which there is a huge concentration of cars, it is necessary to provide green areas.
