This is a picture of a block of apartments being built nearby. On the one hand it shows the true internationality of the project - but, on the other hand, lots of local work (which is basically good). I noted that, for instance, the insulation material comes from Germany, and the window frames are manufactured in Austria. But, it was good to see that most trades are from local areas, such as:- Kitchen - from St Gallen Parquet - from Zurich Electricity installation - from Horgen It makes sense to source materials internationally, but I have also heard of "sustainable buildings" being built, with many materials having very long "miles", and I am not sure that that always makes sense.
