I stay right in front of a dense forest in Kerala. This tropical ecosystem helps us and the neighbourhood is various ways. Provisioning Services - From this Ecosystem, we get a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and various medecinal herbs and leaves. These benefit all the people in the neighbourhood. Regulating Services - Having this forest right in front of our house, the house remains in the shade throughout the day, making the environment within the home cool and well ventilated. A lot of fresh air is available due to the abundance of trees. Habitat or Supporting Services- This forest provides a habitat for various animals and birds and thereby providing a symbiotic ecosystem. Cultural Services - Within this forest, there is a small temple, this temple area is the main spot for all the cultural activites and social gatherings take place.
