During my trip in México, there were places where I felt threaten to be alone as a girl. When I was robbed at gunpoint, people told me it wasn’t worth to go to the police. With this app, you could put a star where exactly you felt unsafe, and why. As a girl solo travelling you could contact other girls through the platform to ask them about their experience. The government could take this data to improve specific zones. There’s a bottom to ask for help and send a buzz to people around that also has the app, or maybe a message to somebody you trust with your exact location. You could give your opinion in that matter on how to improve the place. When enough data is gathered, you can choose to see a specific map where it is sketchy to walk, or there is loads of thieves.
