This picture is showing the rapid construction processes going on in Khartoum city, repetitions of heterogeneous buildings being built and constructed with the most popular materials these days: steel and cement. Although the country is whitnessing at present a notable emerging for many local steel and cement factories ( the pic. shows a large placard advertising for a local steel factory). But the problem that theses local factories are supplied by foreign equipments and raw materials. So they are not 100% local and they are still linked to the foreign currency.
