One of the main problems in Alicante is the lack of decent public transportation, hence its citizens end up using their cars. This situation creates a parking problem in the city center (see red circle). I think that using an app that registers when you are leaving a spot free so other person knows where there is a spot available would help wasting time and unnecessary produced CO2 and extra noise. There is already an app you can use to pay per time in specific zones, so I shouldn´t be that difficult to add this new feature that tells you where you can go park your car. Ideally, the city should put more effort in improving the public transport as it is a city in which you can easily combine free carbon emission means of transport (bikes and walking) and bus or tram.
