The most important stocks entering, staying in and leaving my city Accra are people, goods, and vehicles. From the picture shown, a lot of movement is seen, indicating the flow of people into Accra via transportation systems ( buses and cars), who stay for whatever business brings them there and leave after their task is done. The stock of people are the local drivers and other people who are always at the lorry station selling or involved in some form of trade. The picture also shows people carrying goods in jute bags and so on. These goods are stocks since they are locally made and also consumed within Accra but become flows when they are exported to other towns outside Accra. In the future, these stocks and flows could change depending on whether for instance the people migrating into Accra, decide to stay and thus become locals by naturalisation or residency. The goods may also be produced in the towns where they were once exported to.
