The main energy resources of Mexico come from fossil fuels, most of it is national extraction and a small percentage is imported. The main energy expenditure is in transportation followed by the industry and others. It is alarming that the non-contamic energy sources are very small, although it is important to note that the wind energy has increased in recent years. Public politas should be generated that promote and insentiven the generation of non-polluting energies and renewable resources.
