The uncontrolled growth of the city, has led to the creation of informal settlements in the periphery, lacking adequate infrastructure, which has caused natural phenomena to have an increasingly greater impact. The loss of forests that surrounded the city on the slopes, cause that when raining the water is not retained, because the forest areas have been replaced by buildings and paved streets, this causes low urban areas to flood. Green infrastructure must be generated, as well as an adequate management of rainwater that helps to reduce floods and reuse it.
