Resende is a city at the interior of the Estate of Rio de Janeiro and the three stock and flows we are going to talk about are: Student comunity, Cars and Foreigners. Resende is know by its car factories: Hyundai, Jaguar Landhover, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Nissan. All the material necessary in the construction of the car such as: steel, plastic, aluminum, rubber and glass can be considered a flow. The cars start as a stock since they are produced and stay in storage for a fell months before being sold, but then they leave the city as a flow whenever they are sold. Because of the factories Resende has a Public Estadual University: Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), which brings a flow of students that arrive and leave every semester. Students can also be considered a stock once it has a continuous fixed number. The last influence the factories bring to the city is the flow of foreigners that come from other countries to work at the factories.
