As with my other responses, the drop-down menu does not let me pick my city, Aarhus, instead I have listed Aalborg. Just be aware that Aarhus is in fact the city I refer to and not Aalborg. In Aarhus three examples of stocks and flows are: people (flow), density (stock), and food (flow). Aarhus is a university city, which means that thousands of students move to the city every September. Even though there is an annual increase in people, the density around the city core is staying somewhat the same since there is little to no new construction in the city core because of preservation efforts of our old buildings. Denmark in general, is one of the biggest exporters of pork and there is a lot of farm land surrounding Aarhus which generates a flow of exported food. The only flow or stock out of these three examples that could benefit the city from changing would be the annual influx of students which puts a significant strain on rental housing. The flow could maybe decrease a bit or be spread out over the year, either option would put less strain on the city.
