Not my picture - off the internet This is a picture taken from one of the flats they are constructing in my area. Rotterdam is growing fast and on a daily basis I see the global construction resource supply chain at work -i.e. large container ships pass through the city (off)loading construction materials such as the ones on the picture: concrete from YTONG, China, which is used here for construction or is freight forwarded by truck or boat (to Germany's Ruhrgebiet).
