There is a lot of information presented in this picture, from the obvious information on 1. work and living (respectively represented by the office buildings in the back and the 3-4 story high flats on the left of this picture as well as the construction cranes/poles on the left) to 2. environment (the water and water level, the sky) as well as as 3. transportation and infrastructure (the roads and the yellow water taxi). Based on related data from these sources, invisible information could be derived on e.g. water traffic flows, centrality (where people are working, which areas experiences the largest flows of people?) but also on environmental aspects such as water quality or air quality.
