In the first image at the left we see the center of Playa del Carmen while in the right it is the valley 30 minutes outside from Playa, where Coba ruins are located. In both places the weather is hot and humid, but undeniably in the ruins surrounded by trees and shade are cooler and more walkable than the city. It is presumed that by 2020 the temperatures will increase between 0.4 to 3.3 in Quintana Roo area. In this case, is clear that the amount of nature surrounding the ruins make the weather more tolerable. Playa del Carmen is a small city and there were barely any trees on sidewalks - there were located almost exclusively in the tourist zone. I would choose to create more green spaces and gardens. I will encourage to modernize buses for public transport since the ones currently operating are old and pollute the city.
