In the upper left picture we observe traffic: When I first got to Playa it was high season and at 7pm there were traffic jambs and cars parked on the streets. Right now there is barely traffic despite it’s rush hour. The amount of cars decreased making mobility easier. The upper right picture we observe construction activities: Playa del Carmen is a small town and they import from other cities scaffold and wooden framework. Then they either dispose it outside of the city or return it. The picture below is the current stock of sargassum on the beach: every day in Playa del Carmen and surroundings it’s required to take the sargassum out and dispose it - apparently it is affecting the flow of tourists in the area (which could be related to the incredibly low amount of cars) Sargassum could be a seasonal stock and flow.
