1. Infrastructure 2. Job Opportunities 3. Safety 4. Sanitation Standards 5. Education I currently live in Coventry, UK, although my home city is Singapore. The biggest reason I currently live here is because of university. I'm not particularly familiar with many aspects of this city, but I'd peg it at about a 75/100: infrastructure (including transport), sanitation standards are not really an issue at all. Safety can definitely be improved: the road I live on has a fair amount of petty crime and racist incidents. Education: universities are good, but I'm not familiar with other levels, and I'm also not familiar with job opportunities Safety. This would involve increased police patrols perhaps, installing cameras on streets where crime is common. But safety is also an infrastructure issue: dimly-lit streets facilitate crime, so installing more street lamps may be a deterrence. Why do we move? Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand) and a city in Taiwan. Important factors to me include: 1.Relatively good basic infrastructure, and affordable public transport (including taxis) 2. Ability to communicate fairly easily 3. Affordable and flavourful food (oops) 4. "Excitement" of the city? recreational opportunities, presence of a wide variety of areas to explore 5. Green spaces
