The presiding civic body in Bengaluru is BBMP. The most commonly faced problems include Garbage, public transport, Infrastructural and traffic issues. Development is underway but the rate at which it is happening is less.Part of it is due lack of developmental input to the civic body. None of these can be easily addressed. Each require input and planning meticulously put together for development. This can be battled by an app or even a simple webpage devoted to taking input from the people.Since most of these are monetary issues, simple methods like streaming the citizens not only to give ideas or inputs but also for the actual administration of the issue may prove to be fruitful. Eg: Health rallies, open ended competitions with monetary rewards,etc. This app can be the facilitator. It can inform the people as well as take inputs contributing to the better development of the region.
