The picture shows voi town. On the left is the urban center itself. On the left is a sisal plantation and on the horizon is the Tsavo National park. People are a stock and flow into this town. Tourists from all over both internationally ana locally come to the Tsavo parks to see wildlife. Other people stay permanently because of the employment opportunities offered by the parks and lodges in the area. Capital is a flow and a stock in the town. The tourism industry is one source while the sisal plantations are a large export from the town. Voi is wildly known as a source of sisal in Kenya. This provides alot of capital for the area. Sisal can also be considered as a stock and flow in the area. Not only is it exported from this county to other parts of the country, it is also used locally as a building material(sisal stalks) and for other products used locally such as ropes, baskets, etc. The sisal stalks are used as a stuctural element in locally built mud houses.
