Going to viveros Viveros is nursery or garden center located in colonia del Carmen. This part of Mexico city is one of the most "walkable" zones in Mexico. Primarily the zone is an heritage conserved from the colonial times of the city; making it an attractor to the tourism. As always with Mexico city there are 3 way to get anyplace: Use the tube and walk; use the car; or simply walk. Tube walking from my living zone takes about 17 minutes; this may be the best way to get there, but the subway in Mexico always came with the factor bad mood factor. For a faster and happy ride the better is to use a car. The ride is fast in a 9 minutes making even possible to take a cab. Finally, one choice that many inhabitant will found extreme, is to go walking. The 5 kilometer distance from my home makes the walking last a 70 minutes. I have done this lately in order to do some exercise. The trick here is to do it early -5 am to 6 am- in order to avoid car pollution.
