What are the dominant fossil fuels used in your country? In the UK, the major fossil fuels used are oil and gas. Where are the dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in your country? Transport and Residential areas are the main users of these fuels. It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? Think of how you can improve the sources and the consumption of energy. Since the UK is an island, there is a lot of wind available to use for energy. I would build more windfarms on the coasts of the island(s), transfer the energy they produce to a generator, which then turns the energy into usable energy for residents near the generator. This would reduce the use of natural gas to fuel the homes since that is the biggest fossil fuel that residents use.
