This is a photograph of an advertisement for the PubliBike service in Bern. It informs the passer-by who is waiting for a bus (it's next to a bus stop) that there are faster ways of moving around in Bern - like a bicycle. With the service PubliBike provides, one is able to download an app, find the available bike stations throughout the city of Bern, rent one per app -- a bicycle or an e-bike -- and return it to any station throughout the city. The photograph shows invisible information such as that the service provider PubliBike have thought about their target audience (people who are waiting for a bus don't have a bicycle) and that Bern is generally a biker-friendly city. It is worth it to set up a bike-renting system because people here and visitors to Bern would feel safe enough to move around by bike.
