Business, water, and railway system. I believe these three key stocks and flows are entering, staying and leaving the city and more importantly affecting other stocks and flows. For example, Many business people come to HK and open new businesses which represent a flow coming in and staying for a period of time. Water makes a very important stock while there is no water directly coming from HK, it is important to run the daily operations of the city. Finally, the railway system in constant expansion which affects the density of people in different areas of the city and at different times. With this information one can apply a stocks and flow model to plan new city centers as sustainable as possible taking into consideration the flow of business, water and transportation to the area.
