1. According to the Sankey Diagram of The Netherlands, oil is the predominant used fossil fuel. A large share goes to export, but still it has a domestic majority. 2. Transport has the largest share. Our country is specialised in logistics and with a large Greenport and port, it is not hard to justify the numbers. 3. The Netherlands has always been known for its innovation. Why not use it in our benefit once again? Think about electric cars, energy efficient trains for cargo, solar energy and more. With high-ranked universities (Wageningen, TU Delft, VU) we will get worldwide interest in these new trasportation methods. See for example the hyperloop, designed by TU Delft and very energy efficient.
