Q1 - top livability criteria: 1) housing 2) recreation possibilities 3) environment 4) safety 5) international connectivity Q2 - i live in Oxford, England. Why? 1) the university i study at is here 2) there are good recreational opportunities 3) it is well connected nationally and internationally 4) there is a nice mix of colutural backgrounds in parts of the city 5) it's easy to travel by bike in the city Q3 - ranking oxford on my criteria housing: 38/100 recreation: 60/100 environment: 40/100 safety: 35/100 intl connectivity: 70/100 Q4 - I would make the city more liveable by combattin ghte air pollution in the city and by making housing more affordable Q5 - if i could pick any 3 cities, i would pick Montreal (CAN), Eindhoven (NED), or Seattle (USA) because: 1) housing is affordable for median rent in those cities (except Seattle) 2) they all have nature within city limits and surrounding it 3) they all have good job opportunities in my field 4) they are easy to get around without a car 5) they are well connected to the places that are important to me
