The image present in Traffic monitoring screen above the road. Bangkok’s traffic is very bad in situation, likely rush hours’ whole day for a decade. To prevent this situation, Bangkok metropolitan Administration (BMA) provided traffic monitoring control and placed cameras at key road intersections to provide the traffic information displayed. the visible to invisible information that extract from traffic monitoring is 1. The network cameras are installed on the entry lanes of these intersections so the officers at the control centre can monitoring the occupancy rate which considers the time vehicles are occupying the intersections. 2. The network cameras are fixed camera which features a varifocal lens ideal for outdoor light condition. An images provided staff estimate the seriousness of a traffic situation, and where an entry or exit lane is blocked. The information also displayed on LED screens (traffic display board) above the roads. The metropolitan drivers can decide wheres to attempt to enter a dense road area. From 2, The network cameras provided traffic information and feedback to control centre. The BMA will know the current situation and can be manage each congested road and key intersections efficiently. If the drivers are better informed about traffic in real-time conditions from traffic display boards, they can take some action to avoid, queuing in traffic when accidents and incidents occurs. *********************** Note the image is from internet.
