Some of the most important stocks and in my city are People, Water, and Energy. Red Bank, NJ has been an urban area that has changed drastically in population density. Years ago, many South American immigrants moved to Red Bank. Because of that, most of them all moved near the same area where I work. Because of the flow of Mexican people to the area, now there is a large stock of Mexican people on the west side of Redbank. This has effected the area in different ways. First, the type of restaurants and grocery stores being built represent the people who live there, example I can think of 6 different spanish food restaurants all in that area, all near the train station. Also, now that the land has been developed so much to accommodate the people, power is scarce. The restaurant I frequent routinely has power surges, and after speaking the owner, they dont even have enough power to run their AC units efficiently because of the high energy demand in this densely populated area. Also, now that there is less green land soaking up excess runoff water, when it storms in the area, flooding becomes a major issue.
