I believe that Job opportunities and education are the most important criteria for determining the livability of a region as they talk about the quality of the population living in a region. These followed by environment, health care, transportation and safety are also important criteria determining the livability of a region. The reason I live in Bengaluru is due to the job opportunities, better education and greater International connectivity combined with a pleasant environment making it a potential livable city.The idea of living in a city which in the future will be metropolitan city catering to the needs and wants of all the people living in it is extremely appealing. Bengaluru has a long way to go in terms of satisfying the livability criteria.On my scale, I would give it a 70 for 100 but on the general scale I would give it a 40. I would raise the environmental and sanitary issues to bring in awareness and prudence regarding the depletion and effects of the reckless use of our non-renewable resources which might solve about half of the issues faced everyday. If I live somewhere else, I would like tolive in- -Zurich -Singapore -Canberra
