In my opinion(just talking about Asia since I haven't been outside this continent), Seoul is the most livable city followed by Singapore, HongKong, Canberra and Liuzhou(in China which is presently under construction)in the future. To judge this, I have considered the basic necessities(food, water, fuel), carbon footprint, their overall sustainability and their potential to be smart and green city. These conditions have been chosen since I believe that a livable city is one that gives all its people an equal opportunities in life. I as a citizen of Bengaluru believe that my city does not satisfy most of my conditions to be a livable city, but it definitely is making its way towards becoming one by bringing new rules and regulations and by spreading awareness about becoming a livable city. New norms for regulating the overall carbon footprint of the city have been brought in which brings this city closer to becoming a livable city in the future. I also believe that by sorting the current water crisis and garbage disposal issues would the first and most important step towards the desired future.
