1. People, traffic, buildings. 2i. Pattern of travel behaviours. ii. Urban functions 3. Pattern of travel behaviours: The people in Abuja use buses, taxis, personal cars and tricycle for instate movement, Trains are also used for interstate movement. There’s no definite form of data collection because all payment is done with raw cash so its more difficult giving precise data on how people move and the different times they move, the only certain thing is there’s usually more traffic early hours of the morning and late in the evenings, going to work and returning home respectively. Children going to schools go in the mornings and close from school in the afternoons so there’s an increase in the number of people moving in the afternoons but not as much as mornings and evenings. People also use private car companies that use meter which can also generate information. This information brings the need for the government of Nigeria to impute more resources to make provision for proper transportation system that can use smart cards to get precise information so that they can use it to plan for a better transportation service for a livable urban space.
