In India plastic used in households get separated by ragpickers in the garbage dumps. Stray animals end up consuming plastic which makes them sick. City App should be such that it caters to the problem and also end up providing better quality of life to the people directly impacted by the application. This app enables households, small businesses and even industries to contact people who collect waste plastic to take it to recycling centers, also directly contact recycling factories and various organizations which use waste plastics innovatively, like for construction, interior decorations etc. This leads to collection and recycling of waste plastic in an orderly fashion and better life quality for rag pickers, since with this they can directly collect plastic from homes. This app may further be extended to the collection of many other items which pose a threat to the environment and are currently being extracted from the garbage for recycling or reuse.
