A few years ago, the city of Atlanta created a beltline, a paved pathway for non-motorized vehicles and pedestrian. It has been widely successful for recreation, social health, and the local economy, as residences and commercial areas have blossomed around it. The city has decided to extend the beltline and has requested input from citizens during the planning process.
