Steps 1 and 2:: 1. Bern Switzerland: combinates advantages of an City (high density of various utilizations like living, working,culture/leisure time) with those of rural territories (situated in an attractive landscape, high quality of food production etc.) 2. Innsbruck, Austria: pedestrian areas in the heart of innsbruck allows to reduce traffic noise and makes the city more livable (Restaurants, Shops, public spaces permits a nice city experience) 3. Grenoble, France: combination of different public transporrt systems like bike sharing, trams, and cablecars connects the sourrounding mountains with the city. 4. Valencia, Spain: Conversion of the old riverbed (Turia) through the city to an public recreational 5. Hamburg, Germany Step 3: In Brig, Switzerland there is actually a big problem with the inner city in the context of closing shops as result of big shootings centers in the suburbs, consequences of online shopping, following regulation of shop owners, lack of innovation/creativity etc. There has to be urgently activities to prevent that the city turns into a ghost city with negative consequences of the livability.
