On this foto (https://goo.gl/images/sGucmF) you can see the big damm in Val d´Herence, Wallis, Switzerland. It can storages a volume of 6ˋ000ˋ000 m3 water for the Production of hydroelectric power (2000 GWh annually). It perfectly shows our dependence of electricity and the consequences the needed Infrastructure can has, especially when it comes to renewable energie ressources. In future it will be crucial to improve the technics to reduce the impact to our landscape as good as possible.
