polunio is an app that combines digital political participation, interactive communication between citizens and the cities institutions, governments and administration as well as open data analytics and insights. You can categorize it into two processes: Process 1 is a passive automated process that digitally mirrors the legislative decision-making process of the city council via push-notifications to the citizens, so they are informed and involved in the political decision-making process of their city. Through polunio they can easily, flexible and digitally participate in a responsive Feedback-Loop and express their opinions. This data will be geographically and demographically analyzed as open, transparent or public data. Process 2 describes an interactively managed proves by the cities government, institutions and administration to integrate the citizens in Project, District or Issue-bases topics. The result of duch process is, that the citizens can express their specific preferences and problems and the cities authority gains valuable analytical insights. Actually we are working on the project to realize this app as a platform to integrate multiple cities on all vertical and horizontal all hierarchy levels.
