In the modern era, steel glass and aluminum have become the most used materials around the globe, In Mexico city has been appearing new buildings everywhere full of glass and aluminum in the shell and the interior as well , those materials have been imported from other countries that make the entire process of the construction unsustainable, even the get LEED diamond certificate or whatever, we are forgetting the use of local materials and local designs, because most of the new buildings were designed abroad, personally I'm not against about globalization, but I guess that we are losing some local identity.
