As far as I am concerned, the most important examples of the concept of stocks and flows are land, homes, green spaces for stocks and cars, people and food for flows. In the case of stocks, land is a irreplaceable resource because it can be used to build individual houses, blocks of flats, any kind of urban function, or green spaces. Regarding the stock of houses, for a continuously expending city, it is very important to have enough empty living spaces to accommodate a spontaneous flow of people. Finally, as a very crowded city, Bucharest needs green spaces in order to help in air purification, but also to create a friendly environment for the citizens. Regarding the concept of flows, cars and people are the most common flows, that you can find in a big city like Bucharest, due to the many entities going in and out of the city. Finally, being a service-oriented economy, Bucharest need to bring food and other products from other places. Regarding the future, I consider that we will be able to build taller buildings, therefore increasing the number of living spaces on a certain surface and also the area of green spaces.
