Ideas for a Citizen Design Science project of abandoned industrial areas in Yerevan, Armenia In Yerevan city most of the industrial areas of Soviet times were abandoned, living vast amount of unused buildings and adjacent spaces. To solve this problem a citizen design project can be implemented. This project can generate ideas about the future functions of the abandoned buildings, based on the needs and opinions of people living nearby. In this way the new project will be able to fulfill needs of the community that after the project realization will become the user of that space. Also, citizen design can help to gather diverse sociological data about the communities living nearby, which can help for making decisions about project organization
