Most important stocks and flows entering and leaving my city are 1. Food 2. Raw Materials for construction 3. Water Food- The supply of food is usually done from other cities or villages. Food is the most important stock in any city. It is the building block of the city. The flow is to remain continuous and precise to fill the need of all the people in the city. Image attached to supply(flow) of chips(stock) in the city. Raw Materials – Raw materials are generated in Bengaluru only. The city has tremendous amounts of fly ash sites and aggregates sites which are supplied to neighbouring cities also. Although rest materials for construction are brought from other states or cities. Water - Most of Bengaluru’s water is supplied from river Cauvery about 100kilometers south of city. This flow of materials is the most required flow required in the city as the city lies on hard rock terrain water can’t be pumped from ground water it becomes uneconomical to drill to such depths so the stock here which is water is supplied from 100kms far river. Future stock can be Oil, Gas and People too as the city is expanding each
