My images shows ongoing construction for a children's hospital in Atlanta, GA, USA. For both the interior structure of the hospital on the left and the parking garage on the right, steel-reinforced concrete is the main material. Cement and steel are primary construction materials in the globalized economy. Glass, which covers the structure and comprises the facade, is another common construction material in the globalized economy.
