I live in Guatemala City for the past 17 years. I came to Guatemala because my father brought a textile product, selecting Guatemala as his business platform. a. Job Opportunity b. Culture c. Infrasetructure d. Climate e. education Our home was carefully selected for two purposes. Being sourrounded by nature, which comes to the fact of climate. Te other issue came to the sense of being close from where I work. On this statement, I was afected by Job opportunity, infraestructure and eductation. The las topic education, it´s refered as I´m a Professor at the University and it´s Campus is close from where I live. It is important to mention that infraestructure was an important issue becasue I wanted to avoid traffic. I´m 15 minutes away from University. So after all the points I´d mentioned My home fulfill 95 rated. At this point, where I live is in construction process, and urban development. If I became the mayor of where I live, trees would have to be implemented. There is something wrong in planting trees inside the neiborhood, casue the excuse that roots might affect the underground hydric and electric instalations, but unfortunately they forget about birds, climate, microclimate and all the other important issues. On the photo I´d placed, you can notice how trees are all sourrounding the rpyect, but not inside. If I had to move I would certainly look for nature sourring, close to where I work and infraestructure. In that case. the three places would be; Vista Hermosa, La Montaña, San Gaspar. All of them Zona 16 all of them near University Campus.
